Mr Such has been in year 5 again this afternoon. Today, the children made gas masks and went through the songs that will be performed at the showcase next week. We’re very grateful for all of his help!

Year 5 trip
Year 5 are on their way back from a trip to Dudley Zoo today. They’ve got a little wet, but have still managed to see many rainforest animals and learn lots of interesting facts!

Hillside Football Team
Our school football team played two fixtures on Friday night. They beat Grove 1-0 and then went on to beat Carmountside 2-0! They’re currently second in the table – well done!
Hillside Geographers
Some of our talented KS2 geographers visited Staffordshire University on Friday. They completed two tasks: one involved protected a model house from a flood and the other involved following a map to find the clues around the university grounds. All the children were superb!
