A reminder that Monday 26th March is our rearranged World Book dressing up day. Year 3 are to come into school in their uniform and will change into their costume and their assembly. Don’t forget your child can bring in a favourite book to share with class.
Congratulations to Hollie who has completed the Better Reading Partnership! She has spent the last ten weeks working with teaching assistants in school to improve her reading pace, fluency and comprehension skills and has worked hard with her parents at home. Well done for making great progress!

Year 5 took part in their WW2 themed showcase on Thursday afternoon. Mr Such did an amazing job of decorating the hall and leading the showcase. The singing, flag making and Laurel and Hardy was enjoyed by all!
A fantastic turn out for the cross country event and Hillside competed especially well with a first place for Megan, a second place for Alex and also a second for Luke as well. Well done to all who took part. Four of our runners will be competing for Hanley Town in the City Finals next…

Year Three have had a fabulous few days at Shugborough! They’re on the way home now and hoping to be back just before the end of the school day, traffic and Field Avenue parking permitting! ⛺️
Year Three have all slept well and scoffed a huge breakfast of cereals, yoghurts, fruit and bacon on toast! They are now making dream catchers and shelters in the woods. Bags have been packed for later with many a rogue sock being returned to it’s owner! 🧦
