Reception children and parents have had a busy afternoon with the minibeasts. They have made honey sandwiches, pasta butterfly life cycles and sponge print caterpillars.
Year 4 have enjoyed another busy Science afternoon, this time predicting and investigating circuits that will and won’t work. They have then had to explain the reasons behind their findings, using only the correct terminology!
We’ve arrived and raring to go. Year 6s at Manchester Science Museum are currently taking part in a ‘Circuit City’ workshop!
Year 5 spent the morning collecting data in Milton. They conducted a traffic count, a survey, a land use map and measured noise levels. They then came back to school and compared what they had found to the data from Brooklyn in New York, finishing by writing up their findings on Digimap. A hard day’s…
