Go Wild Forest School

We had a great session this week. We all practiced lighting a fire using a magnesium fire steel! We talked about the fire triangle – heat-oxygen- fuel! We discussed why we have fire & it’s uses! It was a great session to see how the children are able to be resilient, determined & focused!

Bananagrams Semi-finals

The Bananagrams championships are now in full swing. Children from year 3,4,5 and 6 have battled against their peers to make it to this point. They are now frantically making words from their tiles in the hope they can make it to the final.        

Reading Rocket

Congratulations to all the children who achieved the reading rocket. The children have been awarded with a small prize and extra break time as a treat for their dedication to reading during the previous half term. Hindu worship – Puja

Year 4 have continued their learning about the Hindu religion this week, by looking at how they worship and learning about the items that are used on a Puja tray. The classroom has been filled with the aroma of incense and we have lit diva lamps too.
