A selection of year 3 and 4s went to Burnwood Community School to take part in two football matches today. Unfortunately, they didn’t win but their effort was brilliant and it was an event enjoyed by all.
Year One have had an amazing afternoon being scientists, observing and finding out more about trees! In class they watched a time lapse about seasonal change and labelled the parts of trees (ask them to tell you about the crown!) and in the woods they investigated deciduous and evergreen trees. Year six have been visited by a representative of The British Red Cross today. Children have taken part in a First Aid workshop and a workshop aimed to educate the children about crises around the world, including the plight of refugees in war torn countries.
