This week Reception have been designing chairs, beds and tables suitable for the 3 bears. The children selected their own materials, cut them to size and then thought carefully about how they were going to fix them together. We think they look amazing!

The children in Reception have been using their design skills this week to design their own Christmas hats. They had to select the buttons on the sides of the crown to complete the design before decorating with colours and patterns of their choice.
The children in Nursery have been practising for their showcase over the past few weeks, learning lots of new Christmas songs and learning all of the actions. The children in Reception have worked so hard over the last couple of weeks, learning their Christmas songs for the Showcase and also for the church service next week.
This week, the children have been learning about the Christmas story, they have listened to the story’s, practised singing their Christmas songs for the church that tell us about the birth of Jesus and they have used the nativity scene to retell the story. Well done nursery!
