Book swap and book boxes in Year 4

This afternoon the children in Year 4 have enjoyed swapping books and sharing the book boxes they created at home. The boxes were full of interesting clues from a range of books including the Hungry Caterpillar and Gangsta Granny.

Parent Book Share

What a fabulous turn out Reception had on Tuesday for the Parent Book Share session. The children were so excited to see their parents and grandparents and loved sharing some of out classroom books with them.  

Pancake Day in Year 3

We celebrated Pancake Day in year 3 today during our maths lesson. Each of the items cost an amount in pence and children had to convert the amounts into pounds and pence. Children enjoyed hot chocolate and pancakes!      

Shared Reading Y6

A huge thank you to all of our parents and grandparents that came into Year 6 this afternoon for a shared reading session. The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and it was great to see a range of books being read and discussed.

Year 5 Book Tasting

Year 5 was transformed into a café yesterday morning where we all had the opportunity to ‘taste’ a range of books from a range of different genres. Of course, because it was a café, we had to enjoy hot chocolate and biscuits, yum!
