Year Three French

Year Three are enjoying their French lessons. They have been learning how to greet somebody and tell someone their name and age in French. Miss Hayward is very impressed with their French accents!

Yoga and Mindfulness

Reception have been channeling their inner zen by performing a wide range of yoga poses alongside some mindfulness colouring. The children are loving these weekly sessions and here you can see them practising the warrior and boat positions.

Year Six’s Victorian geography

Year Six are extending their learning about the Victorians this afternoon by using geography. They are using a map of Stoke-on-Trent from 1890 and identifying different areas on it by their six-figure grid references.

Judaism in Year One

Year One have been learning about Judaism as part of their RE lesson on belonging. They spent time studying different Jewish items, playing Kim’s Memory Game, drawing the symbols and then learned about Shabbat, the meal enjoyed before the Jewish day of rest on the Sabbath. Anti-Bullying in Year Two

Year two have been considering their role in anti-bullying this week. They were first introduced to the different forms of bullying during shared reading. Yesterday, we watched The Big Anti-Bullying Assembly 2020 and drew around our hands to show five people who would support us if we were feeling sad. Well done!
