Unfortunately the current situation meant that Year 6 were unable to enjoy their residential at Stanley Head scheduled for last week, however we arranged the next best thing for them!
Year 6 children have spent a day each in small groups at the Outdoor Education Centre enjoying activities such as baking bread, making fires to bake their bread and canoeing.
The strict social distancing measures put in place have ensured that the children have been able to enjoy their activities, have lots of fun, learn lots of new skills and spend time with their friends.
We have received feedback that the children have been a delight, behaved impeccably and been superb ambassadors for the school. We have also had amazing feedback from the Year 6 parents who have appreciated the opportunity for their children.
Thank you to Stanley Head and our Year 6 parents, children and staff.
