Year 6 are at Excel this afternoon to take part in an English workshop. They’re using ‘The Lost Thing’ mystery story as a stimulus for their writing. They’re using their imagination to conclude where the ‘thing’ has come from, why has it ended up where it is and many other questions which stimulate their creativity. It is a lovely insight into what high-school English may be like.
