We welcomed Mr Such in to school today to lead an assembly of remembrance. All children have helped to create a display of soldiers wearing poppies with flower bouquets, and Mr Such shared the importance of each element. All of the children observed the two minute silence at 11:00 and showed our school value of respect superbly. We will remember them. ❤️
Also, we made our annual trip to Carmountside this morning alongside Milton and Greenways Primary schools to lay our wreath and remember. The children read aloud lovely poems commemorating the important reasons behind Remembrance. They were very respectful and great ambassadors for Hillside Primary School. Well done.
