On Friday, Nigel Edwards, our School Games Organiser, and Vicki Lightfoot came to Hillside to deliver the Funetics programme to Key Stage 2. The activities were based on traditional athletics. The children participated in speed bounce, sprinting, long jump, throwing and skipping. They also had the opportunity to act as time keepers and scorers. For the second session of the day, the children participated in a range of team games and Year 5 and 6 practised their rowing skills.
