The children in Year One have been learning about the Christian celebration of Easter. They have learned the story of Jesus riding in to town, his betrayal and how he rose again! They used artistic collage to create scenes for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday and have worked with Mrs Green to create a beautiful Easter tree. So while they enjoy their chocolate eggs in a few weeks, ask them to tell you why eggs are used at Easter time!
