Parents/ Carers,
Hope you are well and have had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. It was lovely to see all your VE Day celebrations.
I’m sure that after the Prime Ministers statement last night, there are lots of questions you have. We have lots of questions which need clarification too.
At the moment, for us in school, there is no change to the guidance. We will continue ‘as is’ which is caring for children of key-workers and vulnerable children.
We have not received any information to support us with this new plan to start the phased reopening of some year groups. We expect that we will receive further information from the DfE and the Local Authority shortly, hopefully with clarification.
We will need clear guidance to plan how it is possible to social distance in school and keep our children, school staff and families safe; how we might start to phase groups of children returning and what this looks like.
As always we will keep you informed but for now, please try not to worry. Our plan for now is to continue to provide home learning and continue to support each other in these very difficult and uncertain times. In the meantime, please continue to do what you are doing at home and enjoy your time completing family activities.
Stay safe, enjoy your time with your children and take care.
