Super Science in Year Three

Autumn in Reception

Reception have been investigating what happens at Autumn time. They have explored a range of activities including a treasure hunt, leaf man collages after the story ‘Leafman’ and developed their fine motor skills through hole punching leaves.

A busy week in Year Two

Year Two have worked hard this week in a number of subjects. At the start of the week, they combined their PSHE learning with their computing learning as they discussed the emotions involved with staying safe online. Later in the week, they thought about British habitats in science and grouped animals accordingly.  

Creative Science in Year Three

This week in Science, Year Three have been learning about the parts and functions of flowering plants. The children have been very creative and have made their own models to show all of the flower’s parts.

Science Book judging panel

Our judging panel for the Royal Society Book Prize have been busy reviewing books during this this week’s club. They are doing an excellent job so far, in discussing the shortlisted science books and evaluating the different features of them. We look forward to finding out which will be their nominated winner!
