We have started learning about Islam in Year Two. We went over the key facts first and the children did a great job of recalling facts from previous years. Then we got out various artefacts to identify. We completed a task about the Islamic prayer beads and the 99 names of Islam.

RE in Year Four
In RE, the children have been learning about what Hindus believe about God. They have learnt about how they believe there is one supreme God and the Gods and Goddesses they worships are just a part of him. They looked at the different deities and discussed what they could see. Some great discussions.
RE in Reception
As part of our RE work, we have been learning about how Christians believe that God created the world. We talked about all of the wonderful, natural things in our world and then drew some amazing pictures. We have some fantastic artists in Reception. Well done!

Christmas Carol Service
Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to go to the church today. But luckily Reverend Karen was able to come to us. We enjoyed listening to the Christmas story and celebrating by singing the carols that we had been learning. What a fantastic start to our Christmas celebrations!

This week the children have been learning all about different values. We thought carefully about our own values and discussed them amongst the class. Also, we considered the values which a Christian person might have and where these could be seen in the Bible.
