Computing in Year Three

Remembrance in Reception

This week we read a beautiful story about Remembrance Day that helped us to understand why we have this special day. We learned about why we wear poppies and who it is to remember. We made our own Remembrance cards, artwork, and play dough poppies amongst lots of other exciting activities.

Science in Year Six

Children have been up the woods for their science lesson today, finding molluscs, annelids, arachnids, and insects. They loved discovering new animals and we are going to use the pictures they took to classify them by observable characteristics.

Debate in Year Three

In PSHE, our learning has been focused on communication. The children had to listen to statements and decide if the agreed or disagreed with them. They then had a debate where they shared their reasons with the rest of the class and tried to persuade others to agree with them.
