This week Reception have been reading Handa’s Surprise. They have been learning about all different kinds of fruits and today made a fruit salad with all of their favourites. We also talked about healthy and treat foods. Ask your children to give you some examples at home.

Year One and Two Multi Skills Festival

Hillside Football Team
The Hillside Football team have played their second set of fixtures against Abbey Hulton, who they drew 1-1 with, and against Milton, who they lost 3-0 to. There were a lot of positives to take from both games and Hillside will continue to build and improve.
Sports4All Festival
A big well done to the children who took part in the Sports4All Festival today at Excel Academy. The children tried a range of sports including Boccia, Goalball, New age Curling, sitting volleyball, Athletics and Badminton. They had a fantastic time and were a credit to the school. Well done!
