Year One’s Santa Workshop

Year One children transformed themselves in to Santa’s helpers today, using their design and technology skills to create a pop-up gingerbread card! They designed and created their houses, used their joining skills to cut and stick and considered how to improve their cards! Excellent Year One – I am sure Santa would be most impressed! 🎅

Year Six Elves using Computer Aided Design

Children have been working hard as Santa’s helpers today in Year Six. They have been using Word on the computer to create cuboid nets for 3D boxes so that Santa has something to pack his presents in this year. Here are the Elves in action.

Year Four’s Workshop

Miss McCann’s little elfins have been super busy over the past two days, designing tree decorations and making calendars. Santa would be proud! In fact he was, when he popped his head in today to check how hard they were working!

Year Five Craft Day

Year Five have been learning all about computer aided design (CAD). They are using it during their elves workshop to come complete their task set by Santa. Here are some shots of them applying their CAD skills to assemble their packaging.

Santa’s Hillside Grotto

Santa has now made himself comfortable in his Hillside grotto and can’t wait to speak with all our younger children. He may also have a special gift for any children that are on his ‘nice’ list 🎁 Don’t worry though, he’ll also be dropping in on our KS2 children with a little treat 🍫
