Autumn Art in Nursery

Over the past few weeks we have been learning about Autumn. We have completed lots of different art activities including creating our own Autumn wreaths. We thought carefully about the different colours that we can see in the Autumn and used these to design the wreaths. We think they are beautiful!

Addition using iPads in Year Two

This week, year two have been learning about addition in maths. To practise their skills of adding 10s to a 2-digit number, the children took part in a QR code lesson. The children came across a calculation, figured out the answer using their 100 square and scanned the code to see if they were correct.

School Football Team Cup Tournament

Dance in Year One

Science in Year Six

Children have been up the woods for their science lesson today, finding molluscs, annelids, arachnids, and insects. They loved discovering new animals and we are going to use the pictures they took to classify them by observable characteristics.

Observational drawings in Year Three

In Art, the children have been completing observational drawings on frogs. This links to the work we have been looking at created by Nick Gustafson. When completing their drawings, the children thought carefully about the details they wanted to include and some began to add shading to their pictures.

PE in Reception

This week in PE, Reception have been focusing on developing their A, B, Cs – Agility, Balance and Coordination. They have been running, hopping, leaping, balancing and dodging. Fantastic work Reception!  

Year Six English

Balances in Year Two

Year two have been practising their very best balances in PE. They learnt some top tips to hold their balances for longer, practised with their partners and then showcased their best balances to the class.
