Today in the Nursery we said hello to our very own Caterpillars! We talked all about how to care for them and what will happen! We found out that they turn into butterflies! They are in our investigation area and we can’t wait to see how they grow!

Hillside have had a fantastic morning with the Port Vale Foundation Trust. They have tried a number of sports, had a tour of the grounds and even met one of the players.

There’s been a robbery in Year 3! The classroom is in a terrible state but our forensic investigators are on the case! Who could it be? Everyone is a suspect!

Well done to Hillside’s little fish from Year Five! They competed in the swimming gala at Horizon Academy and made us proud with many 1st and 2nd places! Amazing results; well done to Lewis D, Lewis R, William, Noah, Izzy, Kate, Megan and Phoebe!

Thank you to all the children who attended our PTA disco last night. The children all danced, sung and had lots of fun. Thank you to Mr Mellor and Mr Frost for once again providing a top class dj service!

Well done to Paige for completing the better reading programme. She was awarded her certificate on assembly this morning.
