The children have had an exciting day today. As part if our classwork on Diwali they have made some Indian sweets called Doodh Peda sweets. We think they look yummy!

Year 5/6 Tag Rugby
A team of year 5 and 6s took part in a Tag Rugby tournament at Trentham Rugby Club yesterday. For a team who mostly had little experience of rugby, they played superbly, coming 4th overall. Well done!

Number Hunt
Reception have been on a number hunt in the woods today. We then had an exciting game of hide and seek where we thankfully managed to find all of the children.

Local Democracy Event
Leon, Faith and Isabella have represented Hillside at a Local Democracy event held at The Civic Centre this afternoon. They have toured the Lords Mayors Parlour, taken part in a debate in the Council Chambers and taken part in a discussion and ballot about how their local area could be improved. They were fantastic ambassadors.
