A big Well done to our Y6 Netball team for representing Hillside in the North Stoke competition. The team played fantastically well but were finally defeated in the last game.

Importance of reading assembly
During today’s assembly, the children received an important message about the importance of reading. Many children were surprised by the positive impact of reading widely and often. Hopefully this will inspire them to tackle the reading challenge this term and read five times a week for the next six weeks.

Year Three Party
Year Three have had a fab day with a special letter from Santa asking for their help to start, then creating games using magnets (as part of Science) and finally a party with games, singing and dancing! Thank you to parents for your delicious food contributions too!
Reading Challenge Prize Winners!
Congratulations to Thomas (KS2) and Olivia (KS1) who have won Amazon Fire tablets in our Reading Rocket Challenge. Their names were pulled from the hat during assembly this morning. Well done to ALL the children who rose to the challenge and read 5x a week during the Autumn Term.
