Welcome to the Reception Book Cafe where the children have had the opportunity to ‘taste’ lots of exciting new books as well as enjoying a biscuit and a cup of strawberry milkshake.                       

Y2 Book Tasting

Today, World Book Week started with a wow. Y2 spent the morning book tasting. We discussed the titles, authors and genres of books. We then spent time reading books of our choice. The class had a lovely time enjoying books, and we are excited for the rest of the fun activities this week!

Headteacher Awards – Friday 1st March 2019

Well done to the children who have been recognised for displaying one of our school values and were awarded with a Headteacher’s certificate in celebration assembly this morning.  

Science Ambassadors

Our Science Ambassadors have been demonstrating ‘wow’ science experiments to children on the KS1 playground with milk, food colouring and washing up liquid!  

Y5 Mystery Reader

Many thanks to Mrs Cooper, who was Year 5’s mystery reader on Thursday. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to Tom Gates…a particularly popular choice at the moment. Thank you from all of Year 5.    

Mystery Reader in Reception

Reception loved having Lennon’s Grandad as our mystery reader today! He told the story ‘How to Babysit a Grandad’. The children really enjoyed it!  

Anderson Shelters!

Year 5 are having an extremely busy afternoon decorating their Anderson shelters made in this morning’s showcase. I can’t wait to see the finished creations.
