The Year 4 children are enjoying using thermometers to measure the temperature of melting ice cubes. They are working scientifically to observe changes over time.  

Thank you to all the children who came to tonight’s discos. There was lots of dancing, singing and fun! Thank you to Frosty Melons DJ service once again – the tunes were fab. Thank you also to the PTA and staff for your organisation and time.

Miss McCann has never had such a peaceful classroom, as Year 5 were totally engrossed in their Tom Gates writing. We have studied the style in which Liz Pichon writes, and are now producing our own work including all the features which makes the Tom Gates series so successful!

We made our annual visit to church to celebrate Easter on Wednesday afternoon. As ever the singing was fantastic and the children enjoyed sharing their songs and poems. A lovely afternoon.

Our newly established Y3 djembe squad enjoyed sharing their drumming skills with the school as they came into singing practice this morning. They drew staff from over the school who were keen to see who was producing the amazing sounds! Everyone was very very impressed  👏

The Year 3 book club came to an end this a morning and what a fab session it was! The children enjoyed a hot chocolate, toast and a treat and loved the final chapter of our book ‘The Enchanted Horse’. They would highly recommend the book to anybody looking for a fantastic story book. The […]
