Reception

Reception have been getting ready for Year one today by working independently at their tables. The children sat beautifully and worked really hard to complete their maths and literacy work.

Forest School – Reception

Reception had fun in the woods this week as we checked into our minibeast hotels to see if we had any guests. We found so many new friends such as woodlice, spiders, a caterpillar,  baby slugs and earwigs! We have now put the hotels back so that the minibeast can return.

School Nurse visit

Y6 have had ‘the talk’ this morning from the school nurse. Mr Frost would like to commend the children on their maturity and participation.

Father’s Day Lunch

A big thank you to all of our Daddies and Grandad’s that came along to have lunch with the children on Friday. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, the children loved showing you all the different activities and spending the time with you. Happy Father’s Day!

Final day Stanley Head

The final day today. Children have packed their bags and loaded the van. Bouldering is our final activity – a lovely day in the roaches to take in the views before heading home. The weather has not dampened spirits and the children have all been amazing, throwing themselves into absolutely everything and overcoming many fears.

Reception’s Mystery Reader

Reception had a surprise mystery reader today, Mrs Rhodes returned to spend some time with the children and read some stories. The children were really excited and sat beautifully whilst Mrs Rhodes read ‘You choose your dream’ and ‘Girls can do anything’.  We hope she comes back soon!
