Microhabitats in Year 2
Year 2 have had an exciting week with their science learning. They have been investigating what conditions would make the perfect microhabitat for a woodlouse. They went outside to collect their materials, came in to build their microhabitats and then observed the woodlice entering their new homes. Brilliant science learning!

Year Five and Six Cinema Trip
Years Five and Six are attending the Cineworld film fest today. They are watching ‘A dog’s way home.’ Children will be exploring the varying emotions of the characters in the film as Bella (the dog) attempts to find her way back to the place she was taken from.
Year Three and Four cinema trip
On Wednesday morning, Year Three and Four enjoyed visiting the cinema to watch ‘Abominable’ as part of the into film festival. They had a great time chomping away on popcorn and crisps. The film had a lovely message about teamwork and understanding others.
Story and Rhyme Club
This weeks book was ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson! We created our own dragon blowers and got lots of paint on our lips blowing through the cups to make the flames shoot out! Fantastic as always! 🐉 🔥
Year One’s Science Sorting!
Year One have been in to the woods today to identity and classify trees and leaves. They spotted signs of seasonal change, collecting leaves from all over the woods and sorted them using hoops and their own titles. They used titles like evergreen, deciduous, curved and spanner orange! Great ideas everyone! 🍁
