Our soon-to-be Year 5s thave had a lovely day taking part in time capsule writing, ‘getting to know me’ maths and creating troll heads to put on display in their new classroom. Mr Mellor is excited to get started with them in September!

Year 4 Move Up Day
Miss McCann has had a wonderful day with her new class. They have worked hard all day producing writing about themselves, producing their personal shields and sketching a self portrait which they transformed into a Roman soldier.
Reception Class Move Up Day
Reception class have been painting, collaging and drawing. They have had a lovely day and have particularly enjoyed dressing up!
Year 1 Move Up Day
Today, Year 1 have been painting portraits, playing team games and creating artwork for their new classroom. They have all had lots of fun!
Year 2 Move Up Day
Year 2 have been painting portraits, decorating handprints and making friendship recipes amongst lots of other things.
Year 3 Move Up Day
Year 3 have had lots of fun devising number explosions, creating perfect potions and animals for our garden of growth! They will be coming home with a paper bag to be filled over the holidays.
Year 6 Move Up Day
The new Year 6’s are showcasing their talents today in their new classroom. Colouring Mayan masks, code breaking and jigsaw portraits are some of the activities happening today!
Nursery Reading Challenge Prize – winners
Congratulations to these cheeky chappies for meeting the Nursery Challenge of reading at least 3 times a week. Their names were drawn out of a hat this morning in assembly and have won a lovely new book each. Well done to everybody who took on the challenge!
