Last week in Year Five were getting fully immersed in our book ‘Running on the Roof of the World’ by Jess Butterworth. Throughout our English lessons we have been enjoying a range of challenging tasks which have been developing our vocabulary choices and understanding of the text. We are all very much enjoying learning about the featured locations in the text such as the Himalayas and Tibet. Also, this week we have begun to learn about our new artist, Edvard Munch, we have been looking closely at his work ‘The Sun’ to take inspiration.
