On Thursday we had three completely new books read by our mystery reader, Evelyn’s granny. They were The Spider’s Whale and The classic story of The Owl and the Pussycat who went to sea. The children loved these stories but particularly enjoyed the third story which was Julia Donaldson’s sequel called The further Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat.
