Year Four have had a very busy Book Week, being involved in lots of reading related activities. We started the week off with book tasting and enjoyed finding out about and exploring the book Flotsam. This led onto thinking in more detail about the underwater settings in the story, which led onto us planning and writing our own adventure story for the writing competition.
Also, during the week, we had the opportunity to be involved in a question and answer question with Dr Lynne Bianchi, the author of Smart Pickings book, we enjoyed listening to Mr Soboljew reading us a section of Harry Potter during the teacher swapsie zoom and we tested our book knowledge during the book quiz! A lovely week to finish our home learning before being reunited back together on Monday!😊
