Year One have begun to find out about their local area as part of their geography learning this afternoon. 🗺 They sorted pictures in to town (urban) and country (rural) and talked about where they’d like to be and why! They then explored the school grounds playing ‘I spy, I spot!’ looking at features of the school grounds thinking about if we live in a town or the countryside! In your child’s bag tonight is a named letter about our local walk next week: please could you sign and return it for tomorrow. Ask your child if they can tell you what the country mouse liked and disliked about the city! 🐭
