Bikeability
Children from Year 6 have worked extremely hard over the past two days to achieve their Bikeability level 2 awards. Well done everyone. Also, a well done to the Year 5 children who achieved their level 1 yesterday after school.

We have had a lovely morning tasting ratatouille, baguettes, pain au chocolat and croissants… The children weren’t too fond of the smelly brie though!
Group A thoroughly enjoying their dance session at the Excel Olympic Sports day.
Well done to these children who have completed the Better Reading programme. Their extra effort has resulted in great success.

Hillside have adopted the country of South Africa in today’s Olympic school games at Excel. Here’s the class doing a warm up in preparation for the days events.
These lucky girls were randomly selected to attend the engineering day at JCB yesterday as part of their program to get more women into engineering. They were challenged to make a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows and guess what…. they won! Congratulations girls!
We have re-arranged the KS2 Sports Day event to Monday 17th July at 1.30pm – weather permitting! Arrangements will be as previous letter. If this event does not go ahead again on this date unfortunately it will have to be cancelled completely this year.
