Well done to the pupils who were awarded last week for displaying our school values.
Reception have taken their first trip into the woods today. They had a fantastic time exploring and made lots of exciting discoveries!
Another great Go Wild Forest School Session on Thursday afternoon, a beautiful autumnal day! We played 1,2,3 where are you? Created some conker bracelets & necklaces. Whittled a spear for hunting for wild boars in the woods. Some children spent a lot of time building a den from long logs & sticks!
Year Four were in shock yesterday when Year Five invaded our classroom and refused to give it back. Luckily, with sheer determination and power we were successful in reclaiming our room and driving the invaders out! In addition, we have also experienced the emotions that the Celts would have felt when the Romans invaded Britain!
Whilst 2/3 of year 5 completed their playground leader training yesterday afternoon, the rest of the children started to get our Wind in the Willows display ready by creating pieces of art based around the four main characters. They look lovely so far!
What a lovely thank you note from Mr Philip Such thanking us for our partnership with him in celebrating International Peace Day last week.
The children looked fantastic in their yellow clothes and wacky hair – a great effort! Thank you. We were joined by the Dougie Mac bus and mascots – it was lots of fun! We will let you know how much we raised soon.
Reception have been learning about birthdays this week. We are finishing off the week with party games and sandwiches which the children have made themselves!
