Year Six have arrived at Blist’s Hill Victorian village. The class have been split into three groups and have so far visited the bank, pharmacy and grocers. Many have already expressed their excitement at the chippy lunch they will be having later.

We used ‘Sparks in the Sky’, an ebook to inspire our firework pictures! We used handprints to paint a bonfire then adding whizzing and whooshing fireworks to the picture! We also talked about staying safe and taking care around fires and fireworks! Super work! 🎆

This afternoon, the Year Three children have be thinking about the advantages and disadvantages of different types of communication. They have worked in their groups to create mind maps on the laptops to show their ideas. All of the children are working hard to apply the typing skills they learnt earlier in the year.
This morning the Year Three children have impressed Miss Nelson, Mrs Ward and Mrs Daley with their knowledge of telling time. They have been challenged to practise even more over half term.
