Reception went on a walk through Baddeley Green today. We were looking for a range of features in our local environment and we spotted lots. This week nursery have been practicing adding two numbers together. The children have used the Numicon to make number sentences and have been using the words ‘add’ and ‘equals’ to say their sentence! Fantastic work Nursery – Well done!
The children in Reception have had a lovely time exploring in the woods. We built dens, hunted for the Gruffalo and found lots of spring Bluebells as you can see here.
This afternoon the Year 4 children have learnt how to use saws carefully to cut pieces of wood. Miss Nelson and Mrs Ward have been very impressed. The children are looking forward to using these skills when building bridges.
