Nursery’s Role Play area!
We have had an official opening today of our new role play set up ready for use after half term! The children have all enjoyed going to buy their ice cream and then eating it while watching a film, yummy!

Year 6 have arrived safely at Alton Towers and are excited for a day of fun, laughter and screaming! This treat is well deserved after a year of hard work.
A huge well done to everyone in Year Two for their hard work and positive attitude this week! Everyone is on the recognition board and we are all extremely proud of them! We are now looking forward to our recognition treat!

Last night, our fabulous choir, rock band and djembe squad performed at the Mitchell Arts Theatre. They were all superb and the audience loved them! Well done to all who got involved.
Year 6 are continuing their DT project today – building a Viking boat. They have been using a range of equipment and displayed exceptional team-work to colour, measure, cut, sand, drill and glue their components.
Our forest schoolers have been busy again, creating bug houses for a chosen type of bug. They worked well in their teams and produced some fantastic houses. They also had the opportunity to try the slack line which took a lot of concentration and balance.
The Year 4 children have enjoyed listening to Richard from Severn Trent, who has told them about the importance of water, the water cycle and how they can save water. He has given the children lots to think about.
Our Science Ambassadors have been out again, exciting the children on the KS1 playground. They have been observing the effects of salt on ice balloons and using food colouring to demonstrate the speed of melting.
