Reception have set their ladybirds free. We have watched with excitement as they grew from the larvae, transformed into a cocoon and then emerged as the beautiful ladybirds you see today. The children were amazed and learned so much about the life cycle of the Ladybird.

Hillside have had a fantastic School Games day, today. The children have participated in a range of activities such as multi skills, football, rounders javelin and parachute games. The children have displayed a range of our school values and some were chosen to receive the special value awards.
What an amazing experience we had! From meeting Samuel Pepys, pulling down houses with fire hooks, making marzipan treats and dressing as Stuarts we had a wonderful day from start to end! Ask your child if they can remember what Samuel buried underground to save from the fire! 🔥
