Well done to the children who have been recognised for displaying one of our school values and were awarded with a Headteacher’s certificate in celebration assembly this morning.
Yesterday, Year One experienced a carousel lesson based on the Jewish faith. They handled artefacts including a Menorah, made the Star Of David using lolly pop sticks and their maths skills, and found out lots of interesting facts about the Judaism. Ask if they can tell you who and what a Rabbi is!
Year 2 have laughed their socks off at the Punch and Judy performance! We’re now on our way home with a coach full of tired children.
Year 2 are enjoying an ice cream at the top of the Great Orme!
Year 2 have arrived in a not so sunny Llandudno! We’ve travelled on the Great Orme and are sat eating lunch before venturing back down.
Though there was a little bit of traffic on the way, Year 6 have arrived at Manchester Science Museum on time. They are now in their first workshop: circuit city: it’s electrifying!
Here we are setting up camp during our forest schooling session this week. In addition to building shelters and making our dens, we have been mud painting, building a tree swing and exploring in the woods.
Reception have been learning about the story of Muhammed and the thirsty camel. After listening to the story, we went on a journey around the school grounds to find clues from the story. We stuck each clue to our journey stick and then returned to the classroom to retell the story to each other. Hopefully…
