Mystery Reader in Reception
A big thank you to our first mystery reader, Alex’s dad. He brought in a book by our last author of the term, Julia Donaldson. The children sat beautifully and really enjoyed the story.
Paralympic Sports Competition
Well done to the Hillside pupils who competed in the Paralympic competition at Haywood Academy. The children were given the opportunity to try new age curling, seated volleyball, goldenball and boccia.
Go Wild!
We had a lovely last afternoon with a group of Year 5s toasting marshmallows to make s’mores & having hot chocolate. Some of the group made some Remembrance Poppies too. They also played woodland games and explored the woods.
Mystery Reader in Nursery
The children have enjoyed Beckett’s mummy coming in to read a story today. They sat and listened beautifully to ‘The Gingerbread Man’. Well done Nursery!

Year Six’s first Mystery Reader of the term was Mrs Oxford, a friend of Mr Such. Following this morning’s Remembrance Assembly, Mrs Oxford has brought in some poetry that she has written related to the Great War.
