The children looked fantastic in their yellow clothes and wacky hair – a great effort! Thank you. We were joined by the Dougie Mac bus and mascots – it was lots of fun! We will let you know how much we raised soon.
Reception have been learning about birthdays this week. We are finishing off the week with party games and sandwiches which the children have made themselves!

Today, Hillside has observed the UN International Day of Peace. Mr Such led a beautiful assembly this morning filled with singing, prayers and messages of peace. Each class contributed by reading a prayer from around the world and singing songs- one which they signed in sign language too. The peace poles which each class created…
This week the children in the nursery have had their first, of many, school dinners. They were all really ‘grown up’ and were able choose their own food. In this picture they are showing Mrs Schonau, the headteacher, how sensible they can be when eating their lunch.
Year Three have been learning so much about the Greeks! Yesterday we scripted, performed and filmed weather reports (they were very dramatic!) and today we have made pita bread and tzatziki and tasted lots of Greek foods! Yum!
Year 1 had a fantastic time yesterday, walking around Milton and enjoying chips at the park from Milton Chippy.
