Today, we learnt about our ‘Artist of the Term’ who is called Martin Bullinya. We learnt information about him such as that he was born in Kenya and that he likes to use bright colours and charcoal when he designs. We then worked in groups to think about colour and pattern and began to design a bracelet in the style of him. We chose bright colours as his art work is bright and it stands out. We used the technique of threading to attach our beads. We found this fiddly but we didn’t give up and used a growth mindset to achieve! We are very pleased with our final outcome. We are excited to learn more about him!
