The whole school had a wonderful first day back yesterday due to their inspirational visit from the poet, Matt Windle. Matt led a whole school assembly that showed his talents of creating poetry from random words the children gave to him. Throughout the day, Matt focused on the poetry genre of each class (Y2-Y6) and this has provided an excellent basis for staff to build upon throughout the week.
