Year 4 have been investigating ‘how sounds are made, through observing what happens with: drums and rice, tuning forks, cymbals, guitars, slinky’s, elastic bands and triangles. They have observed the vibrations, thought about how they travel and explored how they can stop. Miss McCann has been very impressed with the scientific knowledge, explanations and questions she has heard. The science learning will continue tomorrow with the performance by Key Strings.
