Today, we had Griff and Matt in from Stoke City to tell us all about an exciting game! All of Hillside are invited to Stoke vs Leeds on the 19th of January at 3pm at the Bet365 Stadium. Tickets are £5 per child and £20 per adult – a letter has gone home explaining everything. If you are interested, slips must be returned before the 18th December at 9am to school – tickets will be posted directly to your home address by Stoke City before the game. On the day, there is an opportunity to meet the Stoke mascots, take part in a penalty shootout and even have your face painted! The children will be sitting in the brand new stand which is only for children and their grown-ups! However, if you’re in Y2, the tickets are free as part of the Stoke City 7’s which includes one adult free too! Y2 also received a Stoke City home shirt too! A huge thanks to Stoke City for the visit – the children loved it and enjoyed the fun games!
