This morning Mr Such, with the support of our Year Five pupils, shared a Remembrance assembly with the children of Hillside. The assembly focused on peace and how soldiers past and present have contributed their lives to this. Mr Such also focused on our local area, with the children of Key Stage Two all creating tags for our Remembrance tree which named soldiers locally who have lost their lives in conflict. All of the children observed a period of silence and reflection during the assembly and showed our school value of respect superbly. At 11:00, children came together in their classes to observe a two-minute silence to remember those who have given so much for peace.
