Year One have been using maps, atlases and globes to locate where they live in the world! We know that the UK is made up of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales and we have studied the seas that surround the UK. We have also found out more about climates all over the world, learning that the nearer you are to the Equator (the line that runs around the middle) the warmer you will be! We will be zooming in on the Arctic and Antarctica next week and already have a good idea of some animals we might see there! Ask us if we can remember what the North Sea is like and what animals have never met! ππ§π»ββοΈ
