Year Five have made a super return back to school this week. They have been celebrating British Science Week by conducting scientific enquiries for our materials topic. For their first enquiry they went outside to observe which materials they could identify and the properties of them. Afterwards, they used these properties to explain why the materials may have been used for different purposes. For their second enquiry, they headed inside into the classroom, where they conducted a fair test into the absorbency of different types of paper towels. Also, Year Five have made a fantastic start to their new book ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ by Cressida Cowell which will be the focus for the next few weeks. We are all very proud of you Year Five.
