On World Book Day, Year Four were very fortunate to be able to ‘meet’ Dr Lynne Bianchi, the author of Smart Pickings book, for a question and answer session.
Lynne told us all about her early life, how she trained to be a primary teacher and how she now works at Manchester University, working to promote and develop primary science in schools. She also explained the process of writing a book, the careers involved in the production of a book and the skills needed. Both children in school, and those at home were involved, lots of interesting questions were asked and ideas were shared. Well done to all those Year Four children for your mature responses and questions for Lynne!
