This week Reception have been learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot. At this special time, Jewish people build a Sukkah outside in which they share food and meals in for 7 days. We built a Sukkah using a forest school tarp along with a covering of branches and leaves. We decorated our Sukkak with some paper chains. We also created the Jewish special symbol, the Star of David, using some twigs and branches that we found on the forest floor.
